View Full Version : Creating one big N-Gon

I am making a mechanical shape, with a rim but a very flat center area, I am assuming that I should be able to bridge all the points together into one gigantic N-Gon instead of having to stitch together some god awful looking quad or tri fest. Is there a button I am missing using bridge, or do I need to do something else entirely, which i have overlooked.

I don't think you can do that with the bridge tool.


Try using the "close polygon hole" tool. As long as the area you want the ngon in is surrounded by polys on all sides it should be what you need. :)

use the make polygon tool if they're just points right now. otherwise if theyre' already polygons select em and hit melt.

cose polygon hole as long as it is a hole, if not use the create polygon tool set to ngon mode and then jsut click on the points in order.

Or use the polygon reduction with 'ngons' option.
