This is a contract position, but we are open to turning it into a full time position for the right candidate. We are looking for is a strong dev with a passion for tools and working with artists. A developer who’s primary responsibility will be keeping the art team unblocked. As part of that primary responsibility, it means that they will need to be able to work in our game code, our tools, and in 3DS Max. A secondary responsibility will be writing the tools and scripts necessary to make art more productive and more effective. Further, we want this person to have a passion for tools and for working with artists, and not someone who is considering this a stepping stone to becoming a graphics dev on a title. Some of the very specific skills / abilities that we want to see are the following (in priority order):



Solid C/C++ developer
Knowledge and familiarity with D3D and 3D Graphics development
Knowledge of C# and tool development
A passion for tool development
Knowledge and experience with using 3DS Max
An understanding of the art workflow and some skills in modeling, texturing and animating
A knowledge of Max Script
