Looks close to her but still needs some adjustments. Face doesnt really remind me of Chun Li. Her shoulderpad area is not so pointy, the bottoms of them flare out into points but not the top area. The main thing is her bracelets. They need to be much larger. Here is a nice site a found with some nice pictures. Just look for the Chun Li statues at the bottom.

Other than that I think it is a great start and alot closer than some other I have seen. Keep at it.
Nit-picking here.....I never seen Chun Li with a weapon :)

I play with my fantasy and reference pic what I have. Sorry I change som detail on her dress but I thing who play Street Fighter know her. This weapon I see on kung fu pic. Thx for coment.
I like the pose, the expression is good as well. If your goin for a style then it's a good piece. But if your going for a more real look then add some texturing to the weapon. It's too plain at the blades. Some texturing on her costume. A couple of highlights to the face to pop it out more; the nose, tip of her lips, little above the brows, some soft light on the cheeks. Something to even out the extreme light on her right arm left leg. A little highlight on her shoulders as well.

I think the pose is OK, but the proportions are off. The left calf is twice as thick as the right calf and her right leg is the same length as her whole torso and head comboned. Maybe keep the legs (thicken up the right calf) and arms the same size, just enlarge the torso. Also, the top part of the right leg is in profile while the lower part (calf/shin + foot) are angled toward the viewer. I'm not sure knees can rotate like that. It's a nice start, keep up the good work.
