Hi...

Concept scetch is a bit rough. it's my first time using a wacom tablet...

My early concept of a medieval or fairy tale setting, featuring an early version of the bus transit system. :-]

A few settlers are waiting at the pickup point for an animal drawn carriage to carry them off to far away lands. Foreground features few buildings and benches and signs, with a castle and mountains in the background.

I might possibly replace the castle and mountains with open fields, giving them a destination to aim for.

Good luck to all.

Interesting idea, maybe they can be inside the caslte walls, and an open gate could lead them to the open fields.

Good luck with the challenge

NICE IDEA... I can't stop laughing - Medieval folk waiting for a medieval bus at the buss stoppe. You could take this to the new level, although I can't wait to see the 3D.We are all waiting...

this past week has been busy lately. :-)

i am currently busy with the building concepts and a better layout. the castle will move back a lot more, just barely visible on the horizon, with the pathway leading towards it, and a village or two on the way there...

more and better images to come very soon!

Started on the center piece of my entry, namely the busstop. not much to show yet, but i should get a good amount of work done today.

Quick closeup concept of the carriage area and ticket office, with a bench and some local surrounding buildings.

3D yeah! I like the post...The grass doesn't seem dense enough though and I think that the whole thing, made of wood, should be a bit more worn...at least that's what I think.I'll keep checking the progress.

More?

Geteken: i have decided to move my focus area into the city itself, and no longer on the outside. that way i can focus more on the characters themselves and their beginning.

thierry2005: thanx! glad you like it!

asbassie: thanx juan, i agree about the grass. it is not nearly dense enough. needs a lot more testing! the signpost does look very rigid at the moment. i'll wear it out a LOT more!
