Well, it's a great start - there are several things I would like to point out, but since it's my bedtime, I'll mention the most prominent...
1) It looks as though you are modeling in Orthographic views (front, side, etc) If this is true, the result is a thinner head as you might notice from the front perspective rendering. The model should look unordinarily wide in the ortho views if done right.
2) The ears need to be larger. From the front view (perspective) thear top of the ear should line up with the center of the eyeballs and the bottom of the ear should line up with the top lip of the mouth.. These are rules of thumb, and can be adjusted, but start there and tweak later.
3) The angle of the nose-mouth-chin (draw a sloping line from the tip of the nose through the chin) is not steep enough. The result is that the mouth and the chin seem to protrude to far from the face. Both the chin and mouth should rotate together so they both point downwards more.
4) The mouth looks good - from the side view, the bottom lip looks smaller than the top. Maybe smooth out the lip-skin transition for the top lip and crease it more with the bottom one.
5) The nose needs more definition, creases and NOSTRILS! :)
6) The definition around the eyes looks good - make sure to leave enough polys for eyelids
7) Tilting the mouth/chin down will help to make the jaw look more proportional - right now it looks big for her head
8) Her neck should be thinner - more petite. Right now, you could slap a mustache and beard on her and she could be a man - rather than a chick with a mustache and beard. IN FACT - use that as your anatomy guide - take your test images into photoshop and put a mustache and beard on her - if she still looks like a chick, then you're doing a good job. Just don't save those files as they could be incriminating.
Good luck!

you're getting there, dude.
i'd push back the lower jaw just a bit & maybe tilt it a little. also, the ear looks like it's back too far, where the head starts to slope back. i'd rotate the lobe towards the face a bit & then translate it forward some more from there.
:surprised -ill
