Sydney based Animal Logic is recognized as one of Australia's leading digital production facilities. Opportunities are now open for experienced Motion Editors to take part in the making of an exciting digital feature film, directed by George Miller ("Mad Max", "Babe") with a premier, voice talent cast; our CG feature Happy Feet (www.happyfeetmovie.com). Substantial research and development in the Motion Capture area on this project is yielding truly ground breaking results. To be involved with this pioneering work the successful candidates require:

* Advanced to Expert level skills in Giant-Nuance or an equivalent
Motion Editing package.

* Solid working knowledge and experience in any major 3D package
and an ability to learn new software quickly.

* Experience integrating Motion Capture data into an animation
pipeline. Preference will be given to candidates who can
demonstrate knowledge of the full subtlety achievable through
Motion Capture and who have a genuine appreciation of the
discipline within the digital process.

* Basic knowledge and understanding of animation principles and timing.

* Ability to perform under pressure with demanding work flows
while consistently meeting deadlines.

* Ability to maintain a high level of personal motivation within a
team environment and a genuine desire to support and inspire
others.

* A sense of fun and a passion for dramatic arts, dance and music
are essential to these challenging roles.

* Candidates need to be available now for short term contract work.
