Hi guys, sorry if this has been posted, i had a look but couldn't find anything, just wondering if there are any good interior lighting tutorials for maya?

Or any scene files available to study?

I'd be very happy if there are :buttrock:

Hey, yeah i've looked at 3d total, highend 3d etc and checked out the long list of tutorial sites in one of these forums, but couldn't find anything about room ligthing in Maya.

This is the scene i have :-
Rendered in Maya software, 3 spot lights, one outside with blue tint, one desk lamp light and a light above acting as a ceiling light.

I want to get it looknig more realalistic, in Mental ray etc.

dagon1978 do you know a good one like yours for an exterior lighting solution?

Title bascally states it all

I'm constucting a Jack O Lantern and I want a Tutorial on making the Candle flicker. I have it lit, but it looks dead.

Even if the Tut is more subtle in just showing how to set up a candle flicker I'd use it.

Thanx

Hey, just animate the intensity and the position of your light source which plays the role of the candle in your scene.

Thank you, I will try that then post my results.
