I'm trying to model a wolf-style dog head using splines, and I really don't know where to begin with the topology of it. I started trying to use the same basic layout as a human face, but with the various features changed. The problem I ran into was that the nose on a canine is really most of the face, with the mouth and cheeks attached, whereas on a human it's just kind of stuck on the face. I really need some help laying out the geometry - could anyone give me some hints on how to begin?
