View Full Version : DirectX .X Exporter - where?
Torador 03-09-2006, 05:03 PM I'm trying to convert my models in XSI to .x so that they'll load into DXStudio, as the program's .xsi importer is bugged.
As a result this is PRECISELY what I need:
http://www.softimage.com/download/xsi/converters/microsoft/default.htm
But the links don't work. Can anyone tell me where I can get these?

If you open up Netview in XSI and go to XSInet, you'll find the .x importer and exporter listed under Convertors.
You might want to do a search for .x in the forum here once you install it. Some people have had issues getting working .x out of XSI

If you'd read my post, as opposed to merely replying to the topic title, then you'd have seen that those converters aren't there any more. Does anyone know where else I can find them?

XSI net (http://www.softimage.com/community/xsi_net/default.aspx)
and search for directx.
You will find both importers and exporters here.

I did read your post, and even went into NetView as I wrote my reply to double check that the links worked. Now they don't, so I assume those pages were cached on my system or something.
