View Full Version : A little hwlp with jkoint placement
MegaManZZ 03-09-2006, 04:51 PM is there any way to change my joint placement after smoothbinding the skin onto the joints?.
i already painted the weights carefully so im hopping there is an easy solution to this.

In maya, export your skin weights.
delete history on your surface
move the joints
reimport the weights
Of course if you have tons of clusters and other deformers this gets to be a bit more tricky. That's why I script most everything.
