View Full Version : 2 node cam render bug in 4.01?

hey,

i have seen that before but i still can not figure out where the damn bug is:
when i use a 2 node camera with animated twist (the top group) and translation animation on the camera and look at locator i - sometimes- get render problems..
i use a dist. renderer to put my stuff on a renderfarm. when i have a chunk size that is bigger than one frame (meaning how many frames in a row a render client does) i get jumps in my animation..
but only sometimes.. not in all renders..
anyone seen that before and knows where the bug is?

would be very glad to get a solve for that

Donno about the bug, but have you checked the release notes for 4.02 or 4.03 to see if they fixed it in there?

hmm.. seems to be fixed in 4.02..
great.. reinstalling maya on 20 machines..

yeah.. and i am quite sure that i finally get 4.5 right after i am done with 4.02 installation :D
