Hyptosis 03-08-2006, 09:58 PM Here are some random comics pages I tossed togethor over the last week. I was just wondering what you're general feel and opinion are of them at a glance? Thanks for looking.

Looks good. Clean, good layout overall. Interesting way to start things out without beating anyone over the head. Good looking backgrounds too -- I hate doing those things, they never turn out well.
I'm curious as to what sort of medium you're using. I've started doing some comic stuff too, which is embarassingly low-tech, and I know next to nothing about how this sort of stuff is usually done. What's your process?

I know nothing too for the most part. =] I don't do anything special, just draw them out on 8 by 11's unless I'm doing something pro which is almost never, scan, color in photoshop, greyscale it, and then layer in some ink wash textures.

Great stuff
I especially like your frames with backdrops, you manage an impressing amount of detail in those shots. Some of the caharacter-only frames seems a bit rough when they appear next to the frames with your buildings/city backdrops. I guess its mostly because to such contrasting levels of detail, but that is the only crit.

Yeah, you're right. I need to spend mroe time on each page in general, I was doing these at two page a day rate which really decreased the quality. Thanks a ton man. =]
