Maybe you can place the light some where else. So the shadows will be more there.

Also break the highlights, so it make it more dirty.

thanks, i will get right on what you sugested...just a test run through. Also what types of textures/colors shoul dbe used for the environment?

Uhm, I think about a basement. So there will be lying pipes, old metal, concreet, ruff. Maybe a bit of sand.
