This was my siple idea.. a group of "goblin-like" start a journey to reach some kind of mountain on the background... but I'm still not sure... I saw different people working on goblin and maybe I'll change my mind later. I didn't sketch environment details they will depend on the time i'll have at my disposal during modeling session (pheraps i'll do it leter). I'll focus on the characters now. In the meantime i started modeling the troll too... i'll post some progress soon.

Very unussual and exiting concept! Reminds me of Francisco Goya's sketches!
I would love to see your interpretation and final render!
Good Luck!

It took me a lot of time starting from a polygon... I hope to finish it soon. Still a lot of things to do...

It's just an "open sky" rendering to see shadows without placing lights. I think I have to fix some things like forearm and wrist and there is something wrong with the feet too (the rest is almost ok)... but I'll fix them later after posing him with a "quick riggin" in the scene (wich I didn't started modeling yet). Too much things still to do!!!

That is looking really great! The detailing is awesome.:) I really like the feet and head so far, the lumps on the fingers I think look a bit strange though.
Keep it up!

Thanks for repling and for any comment. I feel like a novice here and I really need some feedback. The model hasn't been Zbrushed yet (not until posing him) and of course I'll fix it later on that stage... thanks again

wow, awesome character. Right proportions for this kind of crature. His biceps are looking messy a bit. bt the owerall model is so promising! Go ahead mate!

Great model Tranguz!
I like your attention to sculpting weight even into the rest pose. Perhaps my suggestion would be to make the crook in between the bicep and forarm not so round, make it a more abrupt union, adding a wrinkle or two. That's my two cents.
Really, overall, I like the sculpt. Keep pushing!

Good model, I really liked. Do you'll use ZBrush to details or texturess?
Cheers

goblin like modeling... I have to work a lot with them. I'm going to place many of them in the scene.

Thanks for troll's suggestions, they are helping me a lot while posing. However I think I'm going to use Zbrush only for little bumps (not much detailed) and surely for texturing (cutting UVs in thath mesh would get me mad... I think it should be done before adding details and splitting polygons so much... I have to pay my inexperience).
I don't have the opportunity to reply often so be patient with me for that.

ok I tryed to pose the first two characters in what could be the top layer. I'm still working with the goblinoid (mostly with his head and right arm and both of them haven't been Zbrushed yet). I'm going to model some clothes for him and other stuff. I'll place lot of them in the scene.
I'll switch to Zbrush soon to model some backgound.

Hahh, there you are! Hey good work on these models man, the big one is superb. You certainly can work on the mouth of the little one a bit more, but otherwise it's fun to watch! Keep it going like this.

Hey Daniele, very dynamic poses, nice modeling -- especially like the background you are using...its light color, fog, and details.
Good luck!
