Hello.
We are currently working on a project that will need modelling of very realistic/naturalistic high-polygon characters.
Product planning is nearing its completion and we are now looking to take contact with talented 3d modellers to assist us with the creation of these models.
A little about the task at hand:
The characters will be reproduced in physical form in a realistic one-to-one scale (that is, a modelled body will be reproduced in the size of a real body, and iteration of geometry must be high enough to support this!)
The models in question should be dimensioned as the normal human figure and :
-will have no clothes or “unnecessary” ornaments (jewellery or the like).
-should be in one part (no separate parts like eyeballs or so).
-should be of naturalistic proportions. Good- and “fit” -looking, but no “superhero-dimensions”.
-must be modelled as one contiguous closed shell.
-must be as close to 100% anatomically correct as possible. Both with regard to dimensions but also bone- and muscle structure.
Below is a picture to use as guide for the quality that we are looking for (although even this model would need smaller adjustments, -there’s something wrong with the jaw bone feature).
-In other words, the modelling should be as true to realism as possible!
see guideline picture here: http://www.moef.dk/dummyfaces.jpg
This project is currently in its upstart phase – so we are looking for talented modellers who are looking for free-lance work and able to work from home. Initially we suggest commission for one character at a time.
If you think this sounds interesting, please forward us a brief mail with a link to some of your work. Please DO NOT send pictures through mail – a link to your online portfolio will be much better. If you do not have your work online, please try to limit your examples to two-or three pictures. If we find your work suited for this project we will contact you to see more.
We are looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards
