cartoon trees and grass

Project Dogwaffle has particle based brushes that will help in making shrubbery of various types.

Since 3.5 there's also a 'shrinking line' style which can create some thick grass helms turning thin at the end


ive noticed it is difficult to get good looking cartoon style trees in 3d, and often also grass, does anyone know of any 3d films/images with good looking cartoon style trees/grass for reference purposes?

any help would be appreciated
