Here is my concept sketch, this picture has been around the world, in a sense, it has been on a web site my mother set up for me when i was 17, some 16 years ago. I made the sketch while in high school, and it just goes to show, everything happens for a reason. any how, the idea: All uncertainty aside death is a part of life, but the question is Will I be remembered, and how will I be remembered. This will be a beginning of a wonderful quest of a unique and special archaeologist.
I didnt catch the story, but I really like your piece and your drawing skills are fantastic.

thank you for the compliment, to explain the story: archiologest, have an exciting career, the get to travel to exotic places, and discover wonderful treasures. now apply that definition to my concept. the journey is trying to figure out what this huge skeleton belongs to. Where did it come from, is it alien, what was it doing when it was alive. the journey is the search for the truth, in history

more more more. I like the idea. Lets see some of those characters. Anyway. The idea to put very small elements in there that seem gigantic against these little creatures might strengthen a feeling of depth or destination.

I really like the idea and the sketch. I'm modeling a skull too but not for the contest. Its for school. The arch of the nose bone might be too sharp. But its really good otherwise.

The skull is looking pretty good. The brow ridge seems a bit strong. The character's face is less dimensional than the skull. I would suggest getting some references for the head. You can never have too many references!
Keep it up!

The bridge is coming along very nicely! The overall shape of the skull could use some work. The forms aren't as defined as they could be. Are you using actual 3d references? An articulated skull would be great for modeling. Although they tend to be expensive. If you can remove the jaws on the skull it would be really usefull I think. A drawing can only take you so far.

did some work finally on the face of the characters, not quite human but, yet it resembles one with poiny ears. the mouth is a bit small will widen with control handels later.
