hey every one, im kinda embarrassed to post here since the quality of work is really awesome. anyway about the model, its my first attempt at low poly game modelling ive also used blender to make this. the game that me and a friend are working on is a NFSU type game, since this is are first time working together and creating a game we will only have 2 cars, this being one of them (ill post the other one later).

the car has roughly 4-5k polys (i think). its not finsihed, i still have to optimize the mesh and join some of the meshes together and add exhauts, mirror etc...

i know the mesh is a mess, it needs cleaning and tidying up

smoothing groups added, not done by me (i dont know how to use max...yet!)

polyplacement could use some work in areas
some areas have to little polies and others a bit too much.
Also the smoothing is still off.
good luck with the rest

yea the smoothing is still off, ill get that fixed, im gona start using max soon so ill be able to do that myself (my mate did it for me). about the "polyplacement" what do you mean? wasted polys and lines?. im going to start work on evening out the polys soon. maybe you know of some good low poly modelling tutorials that i could use, if you do could you send a link please :)

not bad for 4 or 5 hours work though

let me show you some examples:
green is the add part
red is the part you need to alter/remove

I see a lot of triangles in your model try to limit that as much as possible

Redo the windows part since its very messy at the moment
also the front is way too unstable/wobbly.

Try to space out the mesh as much as possible to prevent smoothing errors
