View Full Version : TYAN Tiger K8WE s2877 Optimal BIOS settings.

Hi Techies!

I just built a new machine with a TYAN Tiger K8WE s2877.

I am not sure i made the best BIOS settings so far. As i am not a pure technical hardware master, i would like to know if anyone would have settings suggestions, from experience with that board.

As it seems to take around 10seconds for the monitor to turn On when i boot, i don't know, if ever someone could help me out on that.

The Thunder is similar in that regard. It takes it a little longer to switch the monitor on than most of the other machines out there, but this has had no effect on my performance. My only guess is Tyan's setup the BIOS to do a few more checks before switching the monitor on than most of the other people do.

lots, and everyone one with a K8WE could you post results you get from benchmarks such as cinebench and 3dmark06 or whatever other benchmarks you use?
