First concept sketch.
The sketch shows a sphere going from where it lived to a new place (and entering a miniature forest... made of grass, small flowers and such). It is hard for the sphere to leave so it is taking its house with it.

I modeled this house as one of several houses I will model, I am trying to see what kind of house would fit the sphere the best.

A second idea for a house.

Wow! really special idea... Have you thought about composition already? hmmm.. Why is the second house built of Lego?
Anyway, I love the idea. Hope to see some more 3d soon. Good luck

3dan3 - nice to see someone from Israel! the house is built of lego 'cause the sphere is small, and I want to show it.

Cool "lego" house. Maybe the blocks should be a little bigger.

Hi, I didn't even notice that you are from Israel, too. Now i understand why you made the house built of lego blocks. I think it's not necessary, because you already have the grass forest, which gives the feeling that the sphere is small, although the lego blocks is indeed an original idea.
Hi tmr232 (and 3dan3) I was noticing about the Israel connection as well! My wife grew up there, and her father lives there.
I really wanted to post because I noticed you are a Blender user! I'm actually using 3ds max for this project but I've used a bit of Blender and liked what I saw. How do you like using it?
Also, this is an interesting concept, like rasamaya I'm wondering how you'll get emotion into a sphere!

Personally, I like the lego house more.
How do you plan on having the ball pull his home?

I thought about it a while (after not doing anything with this project for a while- personal reasons) and got to the conclusion that a small change in the concept might be a good thing.
I am gonna change the house into an un-dragable house, to show that the sphere cannot take it with him and I will show that the rope is falling apart.
Please say what you think about it!

I think that is a great idea. It will add a little more emotion to the scene, showing that you can't take everything with you when going on a journey.

I finnaly finished some other project I was working on and had time to invest in this project.
I modeled the scene (kinda) and put everything in place. the sphere in the flower is the same like the sphere character. the tree is the sphere's house, where it grew, and it leaves to a different place. (don't bother on render quality, it is a sketch)
