Title: Superman Is A Gangsta!
Name: Jakub Sporek
Country: Czech Republic
Software: GIMP

The story:

Did you know that Superman was a Gangster?
Lex Luthor wasn't the bad boy. It was the Superman himself who did all those nasty things, (he had two disguises, you know) and then corrected them in his "saint boy" disguise. Shocking, isn't it? Believe it or not, comics and movies lied to us.
Now, when his true identity is revealed, beware of going out alone at night!

Technique:

Everything is painted in GIMP with tablet. The only references used was for his ring and a little for the pistol (which could be better than this).
Other than that it's all out of my mind.

I started this image as a training of painting a character in non-standard pose and shading it aswell. And this is what came out of it. (Maybe I'll post an initial sketch of it). And I also wanted to try GIMP for painting.

Btw GIMP is not that bad software as many Windows users might think... :)
