Title: Escaping From The Gallery
Name: Sam Nassar
Country: Syrian Arab Republic
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

This work talks about two statuses –man and women- they live in the gallery but all the day the same stand and the same role…
They have bored all of that …So they decided to escape. They tried to escape before but the gallery guard caught them…so he chained them separately.
And now their last chance to escape ….but the door opens and the gallery guard looks really tired of their act …
The snake is the one who tell the gallery guard about their plans.

Hope you like it.

damn snake!!

nice render. I had a hard time seeing it was 2 statues at first tho. I thought the other one was reflection.

I really like the render and the statues. I think the concept is cool as well...I'd like to see them (the statues) together in a more "statuesque" pose. They have a modern art look to them and I think the overall piece could use a little bit more of that.

 Awesome piece

Interesting concepts. Like the mood created throught the rendering & lighting. Have a question though; how come there is a shadow on the floor. It is rather prominent with the box of lighter shade containing it.

Thanks guys for your comments

SkojigaGorillan…-about the reflection faking- for that I tried to make a difference between them so I thought to give the male statue blue color (but that doesn’t fit the environment)

prox_emics…. I thought put them together in another pose… back to back and their hands are tied so they are together but couldn’t see each other…

vacantSphere … you mean how could shadow cast on the floor ….cause the light out the door is spot light while inside is neon light . Thus the shadow and the floor have the same lit.

Hi Sam,

This is a great idea and a very nice image! It's hard to find interior shots in this gallery that are not simply GI studies. This one rocks!

Good Job :buttrock:
