I guess if an entry has no space aliens, grotesque fantasy creature or weapons of some sort no one wants to give any feedback..............

I really like the concept, because it isn't the usual stuff you find here, not that I don't like the other stuff.
Keep plugging away it's not quantity it's quality...the views will come just give it some time:thumbsup:
hey Thomas
I like your idea, very good... and it's nice to see something that has nothing to do with robots or the usual stuff you see not that i don't like that - i love it, but change is always nice.
my own concepts is somewhat in the same ballpark as yours - but don't worry there not that much alike :) hehe...
But i like you idea very much... i'll be sure to check back when your ready with some more updates.
Just a single idea comment, how about having them lie in dark and holding a flashlight making it more romantic in its setting if you follow me??

hi. nice work. really creative.
books can be such an amazing journey. remember reading when i was a kid, and geeting so immersed in it. never seem to have to read these days. should make some.
wonder if kids even read these days? everything is so instant. switch on the tv, and blur into it.
reading is more active, and imaginative. from these words, we build up these kinds of pictures and ideas.
look forward to seeing the cg. quite an ambitious project. lot of stuff to do. dragon, kids, bed, ..
i want to learn how to do that kind of stuff more.
good luck, and have a good time

Hehe, cool idea. I like how you're showing everything they're imagining behind them, though it will be a lot of work to model. Keep it up!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh kewl feedback!
Dennis- yes, but instead of a flashlight I was going to have the book emmitting the light,, in my mind ,even more magical
add101-yea i was starting to think maybe thats why everyone thought my idea was stupid.... maybe no one reads books anymore....
ambitious I know,, but thats the challenge isnt it?
thanks all

The Idea is really cool but I think the composition can be better.
there is no focus on anything .

thats the challenge,, capturing the magic of imagination in a composition. if one can capture that in a final finished piece then the viewer understands where the childrens minds have journeyed to. then the focus is clear
Hey Thomas
thats a even better idea - having the book itself emit light is spot on. and as you said yourself - more magical.
can't wait to see how it pans out as you begin to model the scene :)
