Now I got another one that I'll have to finish :argh: I started this one with the pilot's head and it just sort of progressed into this illustration. C&C welcome.

*puts another sketch on the "waiting to be colored" pile of papers*

at least you got a pile :p Cool pic, the airplane looks a bit strange to me, but the rest of the pic really has a good feeling about it.

I really hate this town ... can you tell?

Slacker Could you be more specific about the plane? I'm not sure what you're seeing on it. Is the perspective off or what?

Kananga & bumskee It may be awhile, but I'll color it eventually. I'll repost when it's done. :wip:

eunuchbot Yes, the things the little rabbits are holding are going to be dollar bills. They're waiting for thier turn. The boots were a challenge. I must have sketched 3 or 4 different pairs of shoes for him (even tried barefoot) before I got these the way I liked them. In the end it was one of those "duh" moments where I realized boots would go better with his flight jacket and other aviator-type apparel.

I noticed a couple things after posting this. The top of the sign is at an odd perspective angle. I'm going to fix that. Two of the small bunnies are almost mirrored in clothing and expression. I've already changed the one on the right to have a open-mouthed grin. I might even change the one on the left to a girl (with cute little dress or mini).

I know the background is very light and sketchy, but from what you can make out - does it work with the rest of the image? Or should I loose the residential area and put them in a different setting?

Take this out of that pile and color it now! This is a great illustration, and would make a great children's book :) I think the image is too cut off on the left side, you should increase your canvas size a little. The little bunnies are just hugging the edge a little too much, plus youd get to see more of that airplane! I think the background works very well with it. It gives it the sense that these are all the kids of the neigborhood coming to ride in the plane. Good job, don't stop now!!
