_Hello everybody, im new here. Im learning English and drawing now by myself, especially anatomy and composition. It so hard to learn by self cause there`s nobody telling me what is wrong and what is right, all i was doing is reading book and drawing as much as i can. When i found this sub forum, I decided to buy a wacom tablet, so i can upload my pictures easilly ( cause i sketched lots but cant upload them, i dont have a scan machine T__T ).
_So now i have a wacom tablet, i will upload my pictures everyday. Evryone please come and criticise, thx a lots. :D

Here is my 1st pic. I draw it to get used to the tablet.

nkabuto,

Hi there, welcome aboard! :) Glad to see you have found us here, and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

These threads are mainly for self~directed work ~ did you have any specific projects in mind? I always recommend that people do master copies (copies of master paintings and drawings) as a great way to improve their skill.

Let me know what your thoughts are regarding work which you would like to do here. :)

Cheers, :)

Hi Rebeccak

Im still learning the basics. So my project here maybe to post lots of pics about how the muscles, bones .... `s position and how they attach to each other. Is that right ? :)
And about master copies, sorry but i dont know any of them. So can you show me a link to some master works ? :D Thx.

Challenging perspective on that first one; not bad at all. I like your figure studies; there are some anatomical issues (mainly the muscle placement/rendering), but they are really dynamic, and good proportions and foreshortening. Awesome. The one on the left is actually really solid overall, including the muscle masses. Sweet.

LoTekk : thx for your comment. :)

Im not sure with the left one, his right arm look odd, but i dont now if its odd or not. :P
I think the right one look good, but so hard to shade. :(

Not look so good

uh-huh....whatever...

I think it looks freaking awesome...very expressive. You might want to do some proportional charts, however.

Hi...Quan....:)

WOW!!....some powerful energy in those drawings.and lines.... :bounce:
If you can, buy ...DYNAMIC ANATOMY and DYNAMIC FIGURE DRAWING by Burne Hogarth..
Those two books will really help you out. ...You have the energy, now all you need is the
teachings of Burne Hogarth to get the accuracy.
Really looking forward to seeing more of your work...:)

TAKE CARE

Thx Skurai, Mr Mu and Spirit Dreamer for your comments. :)

And by the way, i`ll look for the books that you mentioned. Thx for your advice. ;)

This is the sketch for my own project. I`m trying to draw something real good cause i have had nothing since i have my wacom tablet. :D

Its name is "The night crawler".

i twist something in this crawler anatomy cause i want his arm longer and look abnormal on the overall. :)

nkabuto,

Nice sketch! I really encourage you to build your values here in monochrome before tackling color. Great stuff so far!

Cheers, :)

hi

with that nightcrawler... does he also naturally have a small head? Because the proportion of the head is a bit small compared to the torso while in the last two sketches the heads are in much better proportion to the rest of the body.

In case he is supposed to have a normal head size: I would say increase the head size a bit...

til soon

I like the way you're investigating tension and motion in your work. It comes across very well.

Mr Mu : in the 1st night crawler pictrue, i tried to draw something abnormal, so i drawed him look like that. :P But in the last pose of him, i tried to draw real human anatomy. :)

Erilaz : thank for your comment. :D

Rebekka : I thought about what you encouraged me to. I must admit that im not good at using color and shading. :D So i think i should my build monochrome values from now. :)

This is my new sketch. I tried to draw lots of poses in it, instead of drawing only 1 pose and throw some unnecessary stuff in there. :p

Lotekk, thx for your comment. :)

This is my new sketch. I tried so hard on this cause the perspective is so challenging. Now im happy with this pic except one thing, the right arm of the flying one is not right, i knowed it but too lazy to fix it. :P

On this one, i wanted to draw a battle between an angel and a devil. After that, i really love it. So i fix the sketch a little and render it with some basic colors. :) Maybe i should spend time with it till finished.
P/s : the angel is holding a sword .... :P

nkabuto,

Nice to see all your efforts here! I think the more you do drawings like these, the better you will become. BTW, I don't know if I mentioned it before, but definitely check out the Anatomy Thread of Thomasphoenix (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=296477&highlight=Thomasphoenix). Great work there in a similar style!

Cheers, :)
