I'm thinking about buying Motion Gimmick's "Add The Sea" plugin and am wondering if anybody has had any experience with it.
I know RealFlow gives more realistic results but I like to do as much as possible inside C4D (also as a hobbyist I cannot pay too much for plug-ins).
I am going to use it for landscapes, islands, oceans etc rather than for drop in glass, faucet ie larger scale stuff.

For Landscapes: Have you tried Terragen? It would be outside Cinema, but you can create rather awesome stuff with it - for free! www.terragen.com - I think? Or check out Paul Everetts VirtualWorld plugin for Cinema - (donīt know if he has released it yet, though).

Cheers

I use add the sea,its a really good "cheap" plugin compared to say real wave or real flow etc :)

There are a number of add the sea images on their site as well as anis etc. When you buy the plugin there are pre sets you can also get from the site, and the customer service is brilliant.Any time an update had been finished they have always just mailed it straight to me,and the updates have been free and they seem to be always improving the plugin as well :)

But as Pitt said you might be able to get away with using Terragen, and its free :applause:
