We are seeking a Lead Effects/Compositing artist, for our high quality CGI theatrical feature in Mechelen, Belgium. We are looking for someone with great effects animation skills and superb visual compositing experience.
The position requires a senior artist to help our existing team to maintain their already existing high standards, whilst creating an efficient effects pipeline for our internal-studio and outsource studio effects artist teams.
Ideally the candidate will have the following experience:
Knowledge of Maya, including particle animation
Experience of working with several composing packages (AFX, Shake, Combustion)
Experience supervising artists both in-house and remotely
Feature film / commercials production experience
Some 2D traditional effects animation
To be successful in this role, the following is required of all candidates:
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve
Ability to work to deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
You must be fluent in English and have the right to work in Europe.
