[Warning, much to read and a bit difficult]

hi,
i'm writing this because i've got a little dispute with my girlfriend. My opinion is, that she is a very talented person in drawing. A few months ago, she gave me her first drawing (i didn't scan it :annoyed:). Then she began drawing Mangas. And they were awesome! But she stopped drawing Mangas because nobody said something about her other drawings (not manga style), everybody just gazed at her awesome mangas! So she started drawing 'real' things. While sitting in some boring lesson, she looked at the wash-basin in this room and drew it. there's a mirror, too and i was amazed by the mirror-sketch (i never knew how to do things like that, but she knew without reading any book before!). i thought, i have to support her talent. So i told her she should draw more and more. Well, she didn't really draw more, when she was bored in her lessons, she drew (and not very much..). one day, she gave me the drawing of a horse-eye (just the eye, not more) and i thought hey, she knows how to draw eyes. wow! now, two and a half weeks ago she gave me the drawing of a hand (i couldn't scan it, she took a too hard pencil..). this time, i didn't think that it was good done, because she was of the opinion she couldn't draw hands, so she put her hand down onto the paper and went around it with the pencil. (you not what i mean .. sorry for my english!). i said her what i felt and she was a bit angry! so i said, do it better and 2 days later she gave me another drawing she did in about 25 minutes while listening to the teacher (you know, your not really at drawing and not really hearing what the teachers tells you ;) ). I was enthusiastic! i told her, and she said no, thats just one drawing and that she cannot draw and is not talented.
this is the story. because i thought "don't show the first images to someone else that nobody says something against" i told her that i like her drawings! (but myself i had to criticise a bit on her images) so that she didn't give up. -> that was the first dispute that i "lied" just to support her talent. I know this was wrong, i should have said her the truth from the beginning!! I'm very sad about what i did because i hurt her very much (i know that every relation should base on truth, but i broke this basic principle..). when she found out, she told me she would never draw anything! I know, it's me because she doesn't want to draw anymore and that i have to accept her reaction of my lies! Its not good what i did!
she tells me every day, that it was shit to not show her other drawings and asks me if i was not "proud enough" to show them. I was very proud of them because from one drawing to the next she became better and better! but though knowing this, i didn't show them :( my fault!
She is so depressed now and angry on me so i need your help. The problem is, nobody else could see all her images (one after the other) to see her progress.. She also says nobody of our friends ever told she'd had talent. I think she HAS!

and so i want to show you 3 of her images (the wash-basin, the horese eye and the newest one, the hand) and want to ask you, what's your opinion on her talent. these images were made in a period of about 2 months.

i think almost anyone can learn to draw if they can see, have some coordination and are motivated to practice. Her drawings show promise... tell her to keep drawing, it's fun!

the hand is the best one, tell her she should keep drawing and do it all the time!! if she wants to take it to a higher level, schooling and books are always useful and suggested!
