can i set up that an object is not visible during render but still visible in reflections of other objects ???

Of course you can.
Select the object, press alt+return and browse to the "visibility" tab. There you uncheck "Primary Rays". "Secondary Rays" is for Reflections. If you don't want the object to cast shadows, too, deselect Shadows. Amazing, isn't it ;)

hmm, amazing !? hidden i would say :)

in maya i have a button "visible in reflection" or "visible in refraction"

but anyway. thnx :)

Yeah, it has to do with the tree structure of XSI. All the properties are "nodes" in the object tree. You can apply most of the properties to an entire group of objects, if you simply select all the objects, group them and in the explorer drag the property you want to "generalize" from one object to the group, which shares it to all the group members. Maybe a bit strange, but if you get used to it, you don't want to miss it :)
