I always come to CGTalk but never really need to post any questions because I can find them through searching, but this I cant find.

A friend asked me to help him do a brand/burn scar on the skin for him in Photoshop which he is using for his art exam but i've tried with no luck.

Any tips, tutorial links, or special techinques are welcome.

A quick and simple method (doesn't even need to be through digital painting) is ideal as time is an issue as it is for his exam.

The brand/burn scar will need to be done on a photo of human skin.

Thanx in advance.
Sinn

Take a look at this hotiron branding action which creates a "branding iron" look on a source image:

Thanx nafa for the link. It looks good but i can't get it to download off of that site. It says the 'file could not be retrieved' and redirects me to another part of the site.

Does it work for you?

thanx.

You are out of luck because Eyewire has been acquired. Try this one:

You need to register as an Adobe Exchange Member to download.
