Hello ('-' )/

I search people who can help me to find a job in CGI, in Japan, next year.

I search companies names, web homepages, relationship etc, for commercial, video games or movies.

If somebody can discuss with me about that, i ll be very glad.

Hey, just thought I'd tell you a couple of things that you might want to know before trying to get a job in the 3D industry in Japan.

Most of the jobs are located in Tokyo and the pay is cheap and cost of living is expensive. Don't expect to make good money. You'll make more in America.

Do you speak fluent Japanese? While some of the bigger studios will likely have someone who can speak english and therefore give more consideration to a gaijin, most smaller studios won't even bother cause no one there does, unless you have Pixar, ILM, etc on your resume. And even then, they might not bother because if you can't communicate it's kind of hard to work in a team and know what's going on and what's expected of you.

I'm not trying to discourage you. Just letting you know the reality of things. Good luck with it!!!

Thank you very much for your replies ! I need informations like that.

In fact, the pay is not very important for me, the only one thing that i want is to live in Japan.
But sure, i need a minimum to live ! ('-^)

Now i m learning japanese, がむずかしいです. But i like it very much, perhaps i will be a teacher, not a CGI boy, ahah. hum.

I ll work in France during 1 year minimum, and after i ll try to find a job there, but if i can find one now, it could be great. But i don t dream, i ve to keep my foots on earth.

Don t hesitate to give me informations, please.

THX !
