The 2d version

Presentation :

hey!
as it's the first time we're working for a CGtalk challenge my friend Laurine (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?threadid=325029) and I decided to choose the same subject.
She will work on the 2D version an I will work in 3D.
We know it isn't really authorized but our first objective is to improve our skills and to join the community to get some advice.

To sum up our idea, the scene takes place in the little house of a couple of mouse. The female is still asleep while the male is getting dressed to go to adventure. His aim is to get the piece of cheese that has felt just in front of the cat's noze, for breakfeast...

I start to model the scene by the most important object of the story... The Cheese !! :)

Just a little rendering with FG
I will post the shading version more late

Comments and critics are welcome :)

hey there dust_fr, the cheese looks good but make sure you clean the boolean operation up after (Assuming it has been booleaned), because you may come into some sss issues later on in rendering.
Good luck and keep us posted :)
