Hi, guys,

after years and years at the helm of my trusty Photoshop5.5, Iīve (finally!) made the leap to CS2 and, needless to say I feel like an absolute beginner again.

- Iīve noticed that my files in .PSD format no longer display a miniature of the image, but instead the CS2 logo with the green and blue pen.
I never knew how helpfull those miniatures were til now, is there a way to revert the thumbnails from the logo to their original form?

- I miss the old line tool that allowed me to draw straight lines with adjustable line weights and even add an arrow at the tip. Was it completelly removed from CS2 and replaced by the new (vector based) line tool or does it still exist in some uncharted menu I havenīt discovered yet?

- The select tools used to have the "select all" option in the floating menu (accessed through right-click), but itīs not there anymore. It was one of the functions I used the most in all of that floating menu, how do you do it now?
Opening a window around the entire canvas seems like such a chore compared to the old, simpler approach: "right click -> select all -> presto!()

Help.

Hey elieu, As for your first question about the thumbnails, this has pissed off many users. If you keep a version of your old PS on your system, the thumbnails will still appear. If you have replaced the version, here is a link to a workaround.

About the line tool, it is much more robust, you can choose between path, shape layer, and pixel. The various options are on the Option bar, at the top of the UI. Arrows can be selected, from the flyout menu on the Option bar (little downwards pointing arrow)

As for Select All, just get used to using Ctrl-A.

I canīt guarantee that temples will be built in our honor but rest assured that hence forth, March the 5th will forever more be known as Levi Day :)
