Looks pretty good, you should definitely pose him though. You don't need to make a huge deal out of it but at least make it a dynamic pose, like he is ready to to do some damage with those hooks. You may also want to turn down the specularity on those stones, they are very very shiny.

my only crits are that the texture looks "plastic doom3 material" in that its a shiny flat colour really, i can see that it isnt but thats what it looks like.
modelling i dont really want to comment on cause i am not a character modeller but technically it looks amazingly solid, all quads etc however i can see where some polys could be lost without any real problems as far as i can see.

looks like a dog with horns rather than a goat, but thats nit picking.
looks good, try and get rid of that plastic look with the spec map though.
The skin and cloth textures both have a similar tone at the moment. It might be a good idea to saturate the clothing a little more, so you get a better contrast against the skin.
