Hi all,
Today I was testing snowed trees in 3DsMax. I came to this simple and quick solution:

Please tell me what you think of this. Maybe other people have some other nice solutions?

It's kinda hard to tell from this pic. It looks like you are using the right map though, many ppl use it for snow on mountain tops. There's a way to control it more if you search for a thread about snowy mountains from a year or two ago in the max forum where you will hopefully find the answers.
