Hello There , I was cruising the entries and I saw your concept idea, and notice were both on the same sort of path. I like your composition. I will enjoy watching it come to life.

Hey Petre,

This is a great concept and you stair modeling is looking great . One thing in the concept sketch , I think you could emphasize the gate pillars in the foreground more, or move the camera and characters back some towards the camera. Just a thought. Good luck and have fun with this.

Thanks Mmoir . I will keep in mind your advice - it can help the composition . Good luck to you , too .

Keep up the good work.

Hey Petre,

Great job on modeling of the stairs. I like the texture on the stone but it is a little monotonous, maybe add some contrasting darker shades towards both sides and have the stairs the lighter color. Just some thoughts I had when looking at the image.

Great concept.
I like the modeling. I think you should look at the grand canyon for the textures, and maybe make a distiction between the rocks and the floor on the foreground!!

Hey, nice job on the textures so far. I think that if the stairs would have a different texture and color it will be much better, and will help to guide the viewers eyes and add more deep.
But this are just my thoughts not a must.

Terrain is looking great, nice start on the character modeling too!

Maybe you could break up the rocky 'shelves' a bit as they have an artificial look to them...but the overall effect is brilliant!:) So keep it up!

I like your model but I have something to comment. I think something is wrong withi his clothes that covers his head. I think some wrinkles are are nt in the wright place orr the wright position. I mean the wrinkle in the upper half of the head. Maybe I'm wrong, but from the back, the head looks almost like a tree to me. Maybe those wrinkle are too deep and that's why it gives me that sensation.

Anyway, you made a great model.

I'll be watching :)

Modeling superb and the mapping really something else. Of course I love the theme and of course the concept is nice. I felt after seeing the hands first that it might need some work now it seems to me that it actually ties in nicely with your style. I would like to see more. Dude - Love those materials.

salut

I like textures too [and enviroment looks good too ;)], I think the proportion of the character are a little wierd [at least if you intend to do so], head am hands [palms] are too small.
bafta si spor la lucru in continuare

Well, the terrain looks nice, but a bit artificial!
About the character...His head should be bigger, as well as his hands ( too small for a knight ). The shoulder armour could give him some style if it would be something like this ( World of Warcraft hehe ):
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v512/Frozt/filthwow.jpg
And you should make him a nice helmet like the ones use by the greeks: http://www.varmouries.com/vpics/anc_46a.jpg
And I think you should make a stilized sword, like this one:
http://files2.turbosquid.com/Preview/Content_on_11_13_2004_08_32_09/sword_v2_01.jpge459eac5-96fc-4504-b2b1-1f7d1dac79d6Large.jpg
