If this is your very first character model then your on the right path. One thing that could help you a lot that I do as well is to study the point layouts on other people's character models to get an idea on how to save on poly count and to get clean mesh that will deform well in a rig. Places I notice could use cleaning up are around her lips and and her shoulders.

Hey Junerahe
Thanks for the post and suggestion. Studyin other peoples good character models is something I definately have to do more. I mean I look at a lot of models, but to really sit down and look and study their mesh is what I should do more. I agree I should of definately spent a lot more time optimizing the character as well. Next thing Im gonna do is give her teeth and a tongue, UV and texture her, and rig her up.
How do you think my deformation will be with this character as of now?
thx again :)
