The Journey Begins Challenge (2D) Entry: Brun(o) Croes

(first and for all, I allready started this challange but after some problems with my acount I was forced to re-enter this challange and make an new acount, so here it is and here is the link to my previous acount challangehttp://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=322901)


so here is the idea, some strange foreing looking group of people are at the side of some place (maybe a strange wood, or a labyrint) they are looking with a "hmmm wats this" look on their face, and will go and search tro the place where they are,
but maybe their hides some great danger or something else n that place, u can fill that up for u're self, so let their yourney begin,

i will try to give all of the 3 characters a different expresion but still familiar with the other characters expresions so that they come out as one group of travellers.

I'm allso thinking about drawing a hint at wath might be waiting for the travellers...

this are some quick sketches of the character faces,
wich i will use for the travellers, i tried to give them a foreign look and a feeling of a ""maya/japanees/my own strange fantasy culture""

this is the the scene blokked with some collors,

i'm taking bleu as the main collor to give it an unexplored mystic feeling,

the pose of the characters ain'tdetirmined yet, and is probebly still to chanche, i'm looking for way to exprec the "begining of the journey" part more.

though the scene looks a bit death at the moment, because of the lak of other creatures, I am going to put little snail like creatures in there, who might have a purpose in the overall scene.

well it might seem all blurry now, but i got a full vision of the scene in my head, and I hope it will turn out as it has to be or even better :)

Great Characters.
But I think you could use somemore depth in the scene. It looks like ther is nowhere for them to go, so no journey.
