Just a basic sketch. My main character is the little guy in the corner. He will be featured front & lower center.

Here we have a start of a journey. The main guy is saying, come on, join us! I think there will be looming mountains beyound the gate...whether misty or lave covere remains to be seen.

Okay this a clearer representation of what I'm going for. My main model will be the little come hither dude. I need to lower the perspective a bit, see arrows!!

I think I need to bring the haze a bit closer..I want the mountains to seem further away.

Hmm, I think the haze becomes clearer too abruptly for the front mounts. Also try to tune the haze to the color of the sky - atmosphere.

The idea seems to be about an entrance or doorway to the journey? I would love to read about the story.

The story line is very much along the line of any band of heros. They have gathered and are going out the gate to the mists beyound. On of them...my main character is asking you to follow them.
