Hello everyone this sounds like a fun challenge...going with a toon scene with maybe animal vikings who just died in battle starting on a journey to Valhalla. Just a thought.

I'm new to organic modeling so this is a little rough. I like the proportions of the model but I was going for a cat, and ended up with what I believe to be a cat-dog hybrid. Oh well it's a good learning experiance at least :)

Thank you all for taking a peek.

Soapy: Glad you like, I've used that style for going on 20 years now.

Ray: am I only only one with a short big toe? grant it is only about 8 mm but still...

Miketche: finishing up the semister at school had me busy, but now I have some time to work on this more.

Handlebar:Glad to have you on board and hope you have the time/desire to enter as well.

CINEMA 4D FTW!

I hope to have the kitty texured rigged and ready to go by this evening. I'm taking my time modeling because I'm trying to, forgive my ignorance, follow those lines that define a good organic shape (forgot the actual phrase/name it's called).

Cheers everyone!

Hey, pretty cool character there.

Isn't it awful when real life gets in the way of making cool pictures on our computers.

here is the basic color scheme for Leifeline Erikson with some SPD fur. Gonna tweak it more but for now setting him aside for modeling the rest of the group.

Cheers!

Miketche: 24 hours in a day aint enough:D

Atra: forgot to model my cheek fur like in my sketch...imo all kitty now

CTRL=X: thank you for looking and your concept sketch is a great one.

varma: I hope Leifeline Erikson isn't too corny, never really thought about naming them :)

Till next time...

Yes, it's a kitty now :)

That fur looks like those christmas decos, where Santa and little angels have this velvet-like-fur-clothes. Very cool idea

The Reaper is coming along nicely! hahah

Its funny we are following a very similar sort of working method. It is great fun making these little characters. And it is funny that all the renderosity gang has gone cute this time around too.
