Characters for my piece

This is my concept art for the characters that will appear in my piece.
I thought I would try to be unusual and the bad guys rather than good guys going out on a journey.
They consist of one pond goblin and one hedge goblin.
Both have to go out on a dangerous goblin pilgrimage, but niether of them particularily want to.

Pleace give me as much criticism on concept and artwork as possible. This is my first entry so I need all the help I can get

interesting... sympathetic to the badguys are we? :D

looks good so far. They portray a direction of style and that is a plus. Give me more!
