Hello,

Im rather new to photoshop (digital painting) and well 2D in general. I've been focusing on 3D for too long and my traditional side is lagging behind.

If anyone could offer advice on how to imporve, im open to all suggestions, im really struggling here!

This piece is from a memory... a window bay overlooking an Italian courtyard.

You could probably benefit from making a straight decision whether or not to use straight lines (sic) on the window frame and shutters. There is a strong clash between the center beam and the loose insets on the panels to the left and right.

I'm pretty sure you're not going for realism with your figure, but you could probably do with some proportion reworking and overall dimensioning of the figure in general.
