As the title says, this is my first "serious" attempt to make a digital painting. The original painting is signed by an artist called Bolkaz.
The only "cheat" I made was sketching the outlines over the scanned image before aplying colors. I wanted to focus on painting rather than drawing, so that was a quick way to have some material to start from.
I used Painter 7, and then Photoshop to make some general adjustments on saturation in a couple of layers. Itīs been 2 days work and I am quite happy with the results, so thatīs why I decided to post it.
I donīt have any background on painting, so I would appreciate some crits and advice in areas that could be improved.

P.S. The image has been wildly compressed to meet the forum rules, so there are some compression artifacts :(
