heres a quick update. i've started adding some age as far as the model goes and breaking up the color scheme. i'm thinking i'm going to drop the car paint coloring and use a standard matte paint job with old colors coming through reminisant of the Arild Wiro robot. this way i'm not using brazil. i'll just use max 5's light tracer.

another angle with the legs lifting a little higher, but its barely cutting into the pelvis, so i have to work on the model

crits appreciated
I think that the feet need to look heavier. They should smack hard into the ground faster. They look like they have no weight. I think the ankle should rotate more as well. Its a good start. What do you think. Cel :buttrock: :buttrock:

thanks, i agree about the feet, but which way are you talking about the ankle rotating?
Here is an example from the Animator's Survival Kit book.
The weight is related to the rotation of the ankle. I don't think you had much rotation in the walk cycle. Hope this helps. Update with any changes. Cel :buttrock: :buttrock:
