View Full Version : Create Muscle Skin problems with Muscle TK in Maya 7.0

Hi guys, this is DC and i am trying to use Muscle TK for Maya 7.0 to simulate the skin deformation for my character modeled in my WIP - Human Anatmony Study (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=314832).

I been testing Muscle TK for the past week, and i really have a hard time getting the Create Muscle Skin tool to work properly for the upper body.

Here are a few tests i did for the arm,

- nurb muscles animation test is the nurb muscles with animation

- muscle+skin_8 and skin_8 areMuscle Skin Max distance value set at 8 (i managed to have ok result for the chest, bicept, and tricept, but not the forearm)

- muscle+skin_-8 and skin_-8 areMuscle Skin Max distance value set at -8 (this one only the forearm is work, and not the rest)


Few questions,

Did they removed dynamic skinning in the newest version? I saw it in the DVD, but i cant find it in Muscle TK menu....

Is there a way to set different muscles with different Muscle Skin Max distance values?
