AroundTheFur 12-14-2002, 06:54 PM is there a way to have the targa sequences start at 01 or 001 so that when i bring them into premiere as # sequence i dont have to bring in the 1-9 seperately? thanks

Up the frame padding to the desired number of digits (in Render Globals)

you can use imgcvt command under dos to convert the ones you had with less padding so you dont have to render again

theres a real cool program on highend3d.com called seq911 or sequence911
its absolutely essential for renaming large sequences of files.

it's towards the bottom called reseq.exe Saved me tons of time so many times...uhhhh... :D
Yeah...they are a must. Also like dmeyer suggested make sure your default frame padding in your programs (maya and afx or premiere) is set to at least 4.
