Hey all,

Heres a character that I have been working on for a little while. Finally got my computer back from the shop and wanted to update my site and post some of my WIPs. Im going for chatterer for hellraiser. Kind of a mix between the two versions of him. I have them in the top right corner of the pic(pics of him in movie). Let me know what you think.

It is looking realy sweet! My only sugestion is that you could clean up the low ply alot.

I can agree with you there....totally. I got so worked up in doing the zbrush I forgot about the low mesh ;). Thanks for mentioning. I will clean it up.

This looks great. Are you going to seperate the jaw so you can animate the famous chattering he does.

That' wild. What are you gonna do for texturing? Painting that too or making a texture sheet?

Glad you guys are diggin him.

z-brogue: Laziness kicked in a bit when I modeled the low res. I think I will break it open and create a small pit "inner mouth" just enough so that he can move this jaw and you wont be able to see inside his mouth

Neil: Im going to be using a 512x 512 for the face alone. I plan to throw a color, spec, and diffuse map on there also. The next step was texturing though.

RE3456: Yea, I used maya for base mesh and went into zbrush to finish it off. I used the surface sampler to create the normal map. Glad that you like it though.

I'm really curious as what settings did you use inside surface sampler? I think the result turns out pretty well.

RE3456: Heres a screenshot of the surface sampler settings I use. I think I should tell you though. These settings are just ones that I have gotten together after experimentation. I wont say these settings create the best looking normal map or the quickest. Its just the settings that have ended up working on for me and looking good.

I havent had a whole lot of time to work on this beast of a project. I had a chance though to "finish", lets say, texturing the head. If you all see anything that might need a change slap it down on the forum. Thanks :)
