All of us one day will travel to this unknown journey from which can not
to return anyone. It's just a question of time. I'll try to convey this
feeling that is in one moment before departure.

Interesting sketches with a dark mood of despair and senselessness. Something different so many of the sweet an happy funny-world images in the challenge. Remains me a little to the jewish people, who were sent to Auschwitz, Treblinka, Buchenwald and other concentration camps during the Nazi-time here in Germany.

Yes, I can't get the same connection out of my head either, Chinasky. Having the figures in an orderly, evenly-spaced progression lends itself to the feeling. So if you're asking for opinions on color schemes, I'd vote for the top one, the cooler tones. Once you're doing "bleak," might as well choose the color palette that supports that theme the best.
The warmer tones remind me more of the American "Old West": cowboys, train robberies... The former connections have much more of an emotional impact, imho.
Good luck!

This is nice. To me the top one has a better mood/atmosphere to it then the second one. It's really eerie with the flock of birds. I like it.
