I personally like this one the best so far, I think it has the most interesting possibilities in terms of a painterly image + substance. Just my 2 cents. :)
RK> Yeah think I agree, the first has a more human perspective making it more emotive. I Think I definately need characters close to the camera to establish an idea of scale/depth and to pull the viewer directly into the scene. Although I do like the dynamic quality of the second. I'm hoping to keep an energetic feel to the marks to illustrate the exitement and nervousness of something beginning very quickly after a long term build up..
mmmm... thoughtfully strokes wispy beard,, and then smashes linux pc for its inabillity to handle text editing

1. LMAO!
2. I wonder if you could retain the energetic feel of the second sketch and incorporate it into your first by having a second running row of the brocoli~mabobs running parallel into the distance, emulating the forced persective which you have in the second sketch? This might lend more of the dynamism that you want plus retain the emotive feel by keeping the figures in the foreground ~ however I like the sort of wall on the left side of the first sketch, as it makes it feel as though these broccoli mabobs are rising out of some sort of cave...maybe there could be some sort of disintegration in the wall, so you could see the parallel broccoli mabobs?
Cheers, :)

I'm with RK on this one - whatever it is she's talking about! :scream:
The first one is better so far, but I'm looking for more, more, MORE - (if you want to replace that smashed up linux PC with a shiney new BOXX one that is! :D )
