View Full Version : New to CG and gotta quick LW 8 Q...

I have just gotten lightwave 8 and my class is still using 7.5 for the time being, I read that there is a way to switch 8 back to 7, if someone could please inform me on how, it would be much appreciated... thanx in advance and glad to be here!

In Layout type "alt-F10. This will bring up the configure menus window. In the upper right corner you will see a Presets dropdown. Click this and set it to 7.5 style.:thumbsup:

what happens if I go from 8 to 7.5, will it still be compatable or not?

All the tools are still there. They are just laid out differently.

You can just as easily change it back. :)
